Il viaggio al italia

The rolling hills await me.

Sun- drenched valleys, pregnant with the promise of spring’s warm breezes, welcome me back.

A patchwork of verdant greens with splashes of vivid colors
and studded with a billion blossoms, sing praises to the Sun and rejoice at
sweet Persephone’s return.

Azure skies cradle golden clouds which cast fleeting shadows upon the slumbering olive trees and the ever-reaching grape vine.

The yellow ochre and burnt sienna of summer are but a
distant memory – or perhaps, a promise of things to come.

For now, green is the world – and fresh and new – as are my dreams and desires.

Also attached to the page is a quote from Pablo Picasso:

“Art washes away from the soul the dirt of everyday life.”
